By I don’t think anyone ever expects their faith to get shaken as young as I was.
I grew up in church, knew all the verses, knew how to say the right things but somewhere along the way, I drifted. Not in a dramatic way, but in that quiet, slow dullness that happens when you stop talking to God as much… and start listening to the world a little more.
By the time I was 15, I felt spiritually empty, like I was going through the motions but not actually connected to anything real. I remember lying in bed one night thinking, “If this is it, why does my heart feel so hollow?” That moment became a turning point I didn’t see coming.
God met me there gently, patiently, and so personally. He didn’t yell at me or shame me. He just reminded me of who I was, and more importantly, whose I was.
That night, I rededicated my life to Christ. Not in a “perfect Christian girl” kind of way, but in a “God, I don’t have it all together, but I’m giving You everything” kind of way.
And that changed everything.
Over the next few months, I kept feeling this quiet nudge on my heart, this idea that I was meant to share my faith in a way that was bold, modern, and real. The kind of thing I would’ve wanted when I was drifting: something cute, clean, aesthetic… but rooted in truth.
That’s how Make Heaven Crowded™ was born.
It didn’t start with a business plan or a huge following. It started with me making a sweatshirt for myself something that would spark conversations. Something that would remind me (and anyone who saw it) that our lives have eternal purpose.
People started asking me where I got it. Then friends wanted one. Then strangers.
And before I knew it, what started as a small personal reminder became a real brand, a place where teen girls like me could wear their faith proudly and spark real, life-changing conversations.
Make Heaven Crowded isn’t about being trendy or aesthetic (even though we do love a good cozy sweatshirt).
It’s about choosing boldness over comfort.
Purpose over popularity.
Faith over fear.
Every piece is created with intention! Clean designs, soft materials, and messages rooted in Scripture and truth. My hope is that when someone puts on an MHC sweatshirt or tee, they feel confident not just in their outfit… but in their calling.
I’m still young, still learning, still growing. But God uses imperfect people every day, and I’m living proof that He can turn a quiet yes into a God-sized mission.
Heaven’s not full yet! And I’m grateful I get to play even a tiny part in changing that.
