Deeper…a call for greater intimacy with our Father. Much of the recent prophetic chatter has been to go deeper and remove distractions. In the hustle and bustle of life, that can be extremely hard to do. However, when we are intentional with the time we spend in His presence, we draw from a well that never runs dry, and we shine brighter to those around us as a result!

This piece is also a sequel to an earlier piece called Riding the Wave of the Spirit. It was not originally planned as such, but God has a way of pausing us; when He gives a directive, it makes so much sense once you connect the dots. How else can we go deeper with Him unless we’re already riding His wavelength? Think of a conductor with an orchestra. Before a performance, they must tune up in agreement. During the performance, they have to be on the same page (literally), but also have eyes on what the conductor is doing. And they also need the endurance to perform…and that only comes with practice and dedicated time learning the nuances of every piece of music. This is what it means to go deeper. Going deeper sharpens us and makes us more alert…and helps us better minister to those around us!
