I had one of the most peaceful times of my life while cruising September 2025. It was my first cruise, and while looking at the ocean from a beach is relaxing, it is an entirely different kind of peace seeing that view from the open waters. (I am eager to go back again!) When you’re on a boat out to sea, you do truly feel closer to the Lord in spite of the vastness…I imagine it must be what the disciples felt seeing Jesus walk on the water or being in the boat with Him. The only true safety net, the One who calms the seas. What surety we have in His peace!

Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)–You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.

Psalms 23:2-3 (NIV)–He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake.
