Psalms 19:7 (AMP)–The law of the Lord is perfect (flawless), restoring and refreshing the soul; The statutes of the Lord are reliable and trustworthy, making wise the simple.

I get inspiration from many places, and this is one piece that truly came from something random. My younger great niece has a fondness for ASMR marble videos, and this color palette came from one such video, which had marbles traversing through various water features built by the maker. This one set of marbles used had such beautiful solid tones, I had to look for them. And thus this painting came to be.

The Psalms give many allusions to the Word of God being refreshment…so much so that at one time I planned a Bible study curriculum around it. While that is laid aside for now, I know how much of a wellspring the Word truly is!
