Rooted in God’s Word
Born and raised in Zeeland, Michigan, Kendra now lives in Ocala, Florida with her husband and their two children. Her faith is at the center of everything she does, and her relationship with Jesus is the foundation of her life and ministry.
“My relationship with Jesus is everything to me,” Kendra shares.
In a world filled with noise, remedies, and opinions, Kendra believes people need something far more lasting. “It is Scripture that heals, anchors, and restores us.” That conviction is woven throughout You Are Perfectly Chosen and shapes every breath prayer card she creates.
The Beauty of Breath Prayer
At the heart of You Are Perfectly Chosen are Breath Prayer Cards that combine prayer, Scripture, and intentional breathing. Each card features a breath prayer on the front and a Bible verse on the back that connects directly to the message of the prayer.
What makes these cards even more special is the family story behind them. Kendra’s mother is the writer behind every breath prayer. Through her devotional time and study of Scripture, she prayerfully writes words of encouragement from the heart. Kendra then thoughtfully designs each card, creating something beautiful and deeply rooted in God’s Word.
Together, mother and daughter have created a ministry that helps people slow down and experience God’s peace in a personal way.
Kendra believes the connection between breath and Scripture is deeply biblical. She points to Genesis, where God breathed life into Adam. “There is something powerful about pairing God’s Word with breath,” she explains. “It allows people to slow down, refocus, and truly receive His truth.”
Faith That Inspires
Faith inspires everything Kendra does. She feels called to help people turn their hearts back to God and remember where their help comes from.
Her own life has included both joyful moments and difficult seasons. Through it all, God has remained faithful.
“God has been with me through some of the darkest moments in my life, as well as the most joyful ones and everything in between,” she says. “Scripture has comforted me in a way nothing else can.”
That personal experience has become the heartbeat of her ministry. More than creating products, Kendra hopes to help others discover the comfort, peace, and hope she has found in Jesus.
Encouraging Hearts One Prayer at a Time
What inspires Kendra to continue is the people whose lives have been touched by these breath prayers. The stories from those who found encouragement during difficult seasons or passed the cards along to a friend in need remind her why this ministry matters.
“Those stories mean everything to me,” she shares.
She is also inspired by those who have not yet experienced breath prayer. Her prayer is that these cards will reach the people who need them most and become a meaningful tool in their walk with the Lord.
Through You Are Perfectly Chosen, Kendra continues to remind people that God’s Word is alive, His peace is available, and His love never fails.
