Introducing Bird Lovers: A Relationship in Stages!

The mountain bluebird is a species native to the western mountainous regions of North America. I personally love the small size of bluebirds, and chose to paint this species for the all-over blue worn by the males. When searching for images of males and females together, I found one that became the inspirational setting of my painting; specifically, their positions on the tree stump.

Newlywed life is the blending of two lives and finding the right rhythm after “I do”. Brides and grooms pledge to stand together through good and bad; the husband as protector and wife as nurturer, and all the awkwardness that comes with sharing a home and building a life with your forever person. Personalities and circumstances all play a role. Which newlywed life in the Bible would you be most curious about?
