God often starts new years for me with specific music albums that harken to whatever He’s told me my word for the year is. While I won’t share the word, the 2026 album He led me to already had a thread in me. I had a song from that album on a mixed playlist for a very long time (it contains my word), but it was a different song that led me to actually check out the entire album, a song I discovered while trying to build an insta-story in January. Once I listened to the whole work, I realized that once again this was a divine guidepost. The title song, which starts the album, particularly resonated with me.

This piece was half done but nameless, so I did what I usually do when I get stuck…I asked God for help. He very quickly reminded me of the album. Knowing how I was planning to complete the piece, I saw it was the perfect name. This painting is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, the joy in knowing that He always does what He says, and what a privilege it is to walk with Him.
